I am an experienced, bilingual attorney. I have worked my legal career specializing in immigration and naturalization law, helping clients from across the globe navigate the complexities of the US immigration system. I have represented clients from nearly every continent and take pride in being able to build bridges across cultures and countries. My experience working in immigration law has made me uniquely qualified to educate organizations in cultural competence. I strive to share my knowledge of how culture affects our interaction with others to assist organizations in becoming more welcoming to all. In addition to practicing law, I teach classes in Political Science at the undergraduate level.
Beside being an attorney, I'm an explorer! I have traveled to many parts of the world including Morocco, France, India, Mexico, Colombia, Turkey, Germany, as well as many others. I hold a Compostela for completing the Way of St. James in northern Spain. I am both a US and Colombian citizen.
